Historically, this part of Italy has always been an agricultural heartland, home to some of the country's finest produce. Now, Marche is a pioneering region in organic farming - there are more than 400 organic farms in the area. Food in this part of Italy is renowned for its simplicity and taste, and you'll discover the local dishes are simply bursting with gutsy flavour.

This lovely restored farmhouse with plot of land of approx. 4.000 m², is located in the heart of the countryside near the town of Penna S. Giovanni, in the district of Macerata. The house sits on top of a small hill, a perfect location to take in a breathtaking and uninterrupted view of the surroundings. At all seasons and all weathers, the scenery is spectacular, almost magical. The air is fragrant with rosemary and bay leaves.
The house has been recently restored to the very highest level of quality and is finished with a rare attention to detail, using the original materials such as old stones, cotto tiles and wooden beams but making it extremely functional with all the modern comforts.

The property consists of 2 self-contained apartments, a lovely mature garden all around, a garden shad and storage room. The swimming pool is currently under construction.

Ground floor: has a kitchen, dining room, a beautiful living room with fireplace and big French doors onto the garden, bathroom and two double bedrooms.

It is close to the Sibillini National Park, the Tenna valley, the sea and commands a panoramic vista of the Sibillini mountains. It is also near the historic towns of Sarnano

Crowds don't figure heavily in Le Marche. The region offers peace and tranquillity in a beautiful setting. There are only 1.5 million people living in the province, with the majority based around the coast. The long, wide beaches are a favourite with Italian families - ideal for safe bathing - and during the summer locals head for coastal resorts including Senigallia, Pesaro and San Benedetto del Tronto.

The house is only 60 min. away from the sea and 15 min. from the Sibillini mountains. It is also near the historic towns of Sarnano (20 min.), Macerata (40 min.), Fermo (40 min.), Ancona (100 min.), Urbino (120 min.), Ascoli (120 min.)
